SACU has developed key relationships with a number of accredited Secondary High Schools as well as Institutions that provide for those with specialized academic accommodations, and vocational schools that align with student’s interests & abilities.

Though, the Education Initiative does not currently fund students through university, should students require sponsorship in the future our processes prepare SACU Grads to apply.

Quality High School is part of our Bursary Program offering students who have displayed a consistent work ethic and a commitment to their education. Candidates will put their intentions into their application during their P7 years along with the teacher’s recommendation to attend Quality High School. Fortunately, this school is located beside SACU making it convenient for those students who care for younger siblings or have chores critical to the success of their families. Having this accredited high school close to home is a crucial factor that allows them to meet both their academic interests and their familial obligations.

St Julian’s High School is a part of the scholarship division of the SACU Education Fund. Students that plan to attend St. Julian’s will be recognized for their high academic achievement. Students that both require financial aid and are academically eligible may apply to attend St. Julian’s High School.

Uganda National Association of the Deaf

MISSION STATEMENT: To advocate for Human rights of deaf persons, promote Sign language and access to quality services like education and health services for Deaf people in general and building capacities of Deaf Associations.

VISION: Dignity for every Deaf person in Uganda

UNAD’s primary task is to look after the interests of Deaf people communicating in Sign Language to provide services for them and to act as the expert in this sector.

The Association’s activities encompass the whole human life span, from enhancing the status of Sign Language and improving the availability of information for education and training, culture and social services.
